Should the Raiders (5-1, 1-1) extend their home winning streak to seven over A&M, that could force a logjam atop the South with as many as four one-loss teams.
So the stakes will be high Saturday afternoon.
"We're excited," said Texas A&M quarterback Stephen McGee, whose team had the luxury of playing its first two conference games at Kyle Field. "We like to play Tech, and we know they're going to be a great team, and we've got to get ready.
"Going on the road is going to be a huge challenge for us. But we know the opponent that we're going to get in Tech."
